Singaporeans Donate CDC Vouchers to Aid Neighbours in Need

Generosity has reached a new level, with GoodHood users rising to the occasion and sharing their CDC vouchers with neighbours in need.

GoodHood.SG prides itself on being a platform to spread kindness— but we would be nothing without our compassionate users. Full of heart, local users have begun donating their CDC vouchers to those in need within the community through listings on GoodHood's application.

As announced in Budget 2022 by Finance Minister Lawrence Wong, The Community Development Councils (CDCs) will be providing further support for Singaporeans through these trying times. The CDC Voucher Scheme will be releasing three new tranches, in addition to the previous $100 worth of vouchers for every Singaporean family.

These vouchers allow holders to purchase products and services from participating local merchants and hawkers.

On GoodHood, dedicated Singaporeans have been listing their own CDC vouchers on the platform to give away, with most stating that they would like to share them with neighbours in need. This show of kindness and neighbourliness warmed the hearts of the GoodHood user base, encouraging even more users to share their vouchers for a good cause.

These acts of kindness are exactly the type that we at GoodHood.SG hope to spread. Together, we can share the kampong spirit, uplifting our neighbours in need and each other with compassion!
